Unless you lived in Philadelphia over the past 30 years or ordered your videos by mail and favored the esoteric, the name TLA Video won't register. But for movie snobs and Philly residents, TLA Video was pretty iconic; it's where you went for Bunuel or Peckinpah, for subtitles and the Criterion Collection. And now, the last TLA Video store is closing, victim of Netflix and streaming and Redbox and changing times. It was the anti-Blockbuster, but now there's anti-video stores. Are physical media dead?
