The EEOC is suing Walgreens for firing a clerk for taking a bag of chips. Stealing? No, not quite. She's diabetic. Her blood sugar levels were off. She grabbed the bag, ate some, and paid for them as soon as she could. What, exactly, was a fireable offense here? Eating on the job? Medical emergency. Theft? She paid for them.
