This question comes up no matter what the health care system is: In England, the debate is over some doctors' recommendation that patients with terminal cancer not be given life-extending drugs because they're expensive and give "false hope." Should someone who's dying get a little extra time if it costs a lot of money? The people who pay the bills, whether it's the government or private insurers, say no. I wonder what they'd say if they were the patients. (Daily Mail)
