This woman is a consumer gadfly, and she wasn't going to let a Walmart price scanner mistake go without a lawsuit. The overcharge? Two cents. Seriously. She sued, and won, over a two cent charge. But while she's obviously a pain in the ass, in this case, she was right: The overscan was consistent, repeated, not fixed when the company was informed about it, and in place in multiple stores. And if Walmart got away with this, might they be doing it on other products? How much does that add up to over time? (Pittsburgh Tribune-Review)
