We Didn't Have Swearing In Pong And We All Grew Up Cursing Anyway

Wait, so they admit that the study that claims that exposure to profanity on TV or in video games leads to aggression and swearing among teens does NOT show a causal relationship -- they don't know whether playing a game with swearing makes kids swear and be aggressive or whether aggressive, potty-mouthed teens tend to play video games. But that doesn't prevent them from releasing the study and hinting that there IS a relationship, even though the study merely asked kids a series of questions about hearing profanity and what they thought of it, or whether they hit anyone. This is what passes for research? (MSNBC)
