You Don't Need State Confirmation To Inform People You're A Racist

It's rare that I agree with Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX) on practically anything, but I have to agree with her that there's no reason Texas should have Confederate flag license plates. The plates are meant to honor Confederate veterans, which would make sense if you also think that having license plates with swastikas on them to honor Nazi German war veterans would also be acceptable. I'm far from politically correct, but the people supporting Confederate flag anything need to understand that they're supporting a symbol of evil. That flag symbolizes slavery. You have the right to put it on your car, fly in your yard, and wear it on your shirt, your jeans, anywhere. But the state doesn't have to allow it on license plates. And it shouldn't.
