Suddenly, Priceline Doesn't Look So Bad
-
Remember, when you read expert advice in the papers, that the experts aren't always experts. Take the bride who got taken for thousands of dollars by a scam artist who leased her a house for her wedding on the beach in Hawaii and turned out to be a fraud. The scamster demanded money wired in advance; this didn't ring warning bells in the bride's mind. And the bride is the L.A. Times travel editor. An "expert." Doesn't say much for her expertise.
