How Mature

In the annual and, this year, meaningless rivalry game, USC led UCLA 21-7 with the ball at the UCLA 48 and 57 seconds left, so Pete Carroll had his quarterback take a knee to run out the clock and spare UCLA any more of a beating. And UCLA's Rick Neuheisel inexplicably called time out. So Carroll matched that petulance with his own unsportsmanlike conduct, having Matt Barkley throw a 48 yard touchdown pass. And that almost started a riot. Neuheisel was a jackass for calling time out, and Carroll was a jackass for not taking another knee.
