Mike Huckabee might have his Dukakis-Horton moment here: The cop killer in Washington state was granted clemency by Huckabee in 2000 from a 60 year sentence for burglary and theft. And the guy went on to violate his parole, get away with THAT, and subsequently rack up a massive arrest record. He'd been in jail for a child-rape charge, and he'd racked up at least five felony convictions in Arkansas and at least eight felony charges in Washington before this incident. But he kept getting released. Why? (Fun fact: He posted bond for the child-rape charge using Jail Sucks Bail Bonds)
