You'll Just Have To Send Jeeves To The -- Shudder -- Walmart A Few Towns Over
-
The very-upscale town of Armonk, NY, a rich suburb of New York, now has no grocery, and the wealthy folk now have to drive a long way to buy food. Why? The town insisted that if the A&P renovated, it needed more parking spaces. They were six short. Neither side would budge, so the grocery is shutting its doors. This couldn't have been worked out? Is there a magic formula to determine the right number of parking spaces? (WCBS-TV/New York)
