When Reason Takes A Vacation, There's No Other Choice
-
This Marine vet and his family are refusing to leave their foreclosed home despite an eviction notice. His argument: He lost his job, he asked for a loan modification, but the bank decided to foreclose anyway, even though the guy's business improved and he could again afford the original mortgage. He tried to pay and they wouldn't take it; he was still negotiating with the bank when another department foreclosed. You know, I don't blame him for staying. The bank could have, it seems, worked this out and chose to screw him over instead. (Riverside Press-Enterprise)
