How Dare You Try To Avoid Getting Ripped Off
-
I suppose were supposed to feel sorry for the various cell phone carriers around the world who say they've lost networks $13.9 billion in 2011 from people using messaging services other than texting. When you use things like BlackBerry messenger or Facebook messaging, you don't pay the text fees. But text message fees are among the most unreasonable fees you will ever pay: when you're spending, say, $.20 per message, and the bandwidth that you used to do it costs the carrier a tiny fraction of a penny, you're getting gouged. Why wouldn't you look for an alternative? (BBC)
