If I Can't Have A Burger, I'm Depressed, Too
-
Wait, last week we were told that red meat is so bad for you that you should eat none. This week they say that women who eat less than the recommended amount of red meat are twice as likely to suffer depression and anxiety. It's not about protein, because other forms -- chicken, pork, fish -- didn't have the same effect. Warning, though: You're not supposed to exceed that recommended amount, either. They say "roughly 3-4 small, palm-sized serves a week" is what you should eat. So, you can eat that Five Guys burger with all the toppings, but not every day. (Daily Mail)
