The Miss Universe Canada pageant has disqualified a contestant because she was born male. That violates the rules. But there IS another way to look at it: You can assume everybody in those pageants has had work done, and Lord knows they get primped and made up beyond recognition. There's nothing natural among them. So what's the big deal? If someone born a man can look good enough to win a women's pageant, what the hell, more power to her. It's not like she started out with an advantage. (Toronto Star)
