Because You Can't Tell It's There By Yourself

I don't know what more information you need to know about why you should have a carbon monoxide alarm, but in case you're still a holdout, here's an elderly man who was saved because his alarm detected that he'd accidentally left his car running in his closed garage. He was asleep, and the alarm tripped off, alerting his alarm company. You don't need an alarm company involved, but you do need at least a detector that'll sound a loud alarm when there's carbon monoxide. Seriously, it's, what, twenty bucks each? Less? What's your life worth? (WTNH-TV/New Haven)
