Call it the Yelp Effect: Is it fair that anonymous negative reviews can cost a business a lot of money? Companies are fighting back, but how do you do that effectively, especially when the negative reviews could, for all you know, be coming from a competitor? And, as a consumer, do you read those reviews and act accordingly, even if you know that they might not be accurate or might be motivated by something other than honesty?
