Everybody's Number One - It's Good For Their Self-Esteem

Colleges, it says here, are no longer considering high school class rank as a major element in admissions. And that's fine, but how will they know how a student really did relative to others in his class? An A at one school might not be worth what an A is in another school; If a student's GPA is, say, 3.7, doesn't it help to know how common high grades are in that school? (Press of Atlantic City)
