If 'Don't Drink And Drive' Isn't Enough, What Is?
-
My local paper has these two stories: In one, two alleged drunk drivers hit each other and then plowed into a construction crew, killing two workers. In another, a young woman who was allegedly drunk when she ran into and killed a pedestrian is getting a lenient sentence, and the victim's family is livid and seeking justice. In both cases, it just seems like we don't take driving while drunk seriously enough. People make mistakes, but if that mistake takes a life, it should mean life in prison. (Daily Breeze)
