An Argument For Long-Haul Trucking School

This column posits that the unemployed are partially to blame for their own fate, because they're looking for work in the wrong places -- for example, construction workers looking for more construction work, when they SHOULD be retraining themselves to be qualified for jobs in other fields. Is it that simple? Seriously, if you're in your 40s and 50s, how easy is it to get retrained AND keep paying the rent? (Washington Post)
