Something stinks in Southern California, and I'm not just talking about Mayor Villaraigosa and most other politicians, although they stink, too. I'm talking about the stench that's wafting over the Inland Empire into the San Fernando Valley and up into the High Desert. Smells like rotten eggs, and nobody knows why. It's possible that it's coming from the Salton Sea in the desert near the Mexican border, and that would be biological in nature like an algae bloom or fish kill, but they're not sure. Bleaugh.
