The Knoxville police are warning football fans not to rush the field if Tennessee beats Florida Saturday, because they'll arrest and charge anyone who tries it. How they'll stop it, I can't imagine, unless they immediately ring the field at the end of the game the way Frank Rizzo's Philly mounted police came out and guarded the field at the Vet when the Phillies won the 1980 World Series. But, then, I don't get why anyone would rush the field, anyway. YOU didn't win the game, the players did. Cheer, then safely file out of the stadium.
