Because God Really Cares About A High School Football Game
-
A school district's ban on Bible and religious messages on signs at sporting events has been lifted for now under a temporary restraining order obtained by a Christian group battling against pressure from atheists. And as someone who frankly doesn't care WHAT'S on a sign at a high school football game, I just have to wonder both why anyone needs to proselytize at a football game or why someone who isn't religious can't ignore it. It's probably ultimately unconstitutional if the signs held by cheerleaders are considered school, and therefore government, action, but, really, is this worth a battle? And for the people all hopped up over pushing their religion at a high school game, why? (Fox News)
