We Are Assuming There Will Be An NHL
-
The New York Islanders are moving to Brooklyn, or, at least, that's what they're planning, most likely by 2015. They couldn't get an arena deal in Nassau County, so they're moving in with the Nets. Barclays Center will have a small seating capacity, the smallest in the league, but, considering their attendance lately, they won't even fill that up. The question is, can the third team in the New York metropolitan area ever become more than that, whether they play in Long Island or Brooklyn or wherever? (Newsday)
