College football coaches make millions. 42 of them make at least $2 million a year. Nick Saban makes $5.5 million. And many of the same schools plead poverty when they're cutting back on classes and raising tuition. They say that the football programs make a lot of money to pay for other things, but it seems like it's not enough. And when coaches' pay went up 44% between 2007 and 2001 -- CEO pay went up "only" 23%, and most of the rest of American didn't get ANY raises -- something is way out of whack. (USA Today)
