Maybe A Transatlantic Cruise Would Have Been More Appropriate

She was 425 pounds, ill, and trying to get back from Europe home to the U.S., and three airlines refused to allow her on their flights. And she died before she could find a plane that would take her. She did manage to fly TO Europe, but on the way back, the airlines said their planes couldn't accommodate her, the seatbacks couldn't fit her, and/or the seatbelt extenders weren't big enough. Naturally, her husband plans to sue for millions. And the question is whether the airlines are obligated to find a way to get a massively, morbidly obese person on a flight. (NBC News)
