So That's 275 People Who Won't Go To Nets Games Anymore
-
This short item notes that the banking/investment firm Barclays Capital is planning to lay off 275 employees in New York. I include this to also note that this comes shortly after the opening of the Barclays Center arena in Brooklyn, the naming rights for which cost enough to cover a lot of salaries. Is there anything more galling than to get fired while watching your employer spend money on sports arena naming rights or huge salary increases and bonuses for corporate executives?
