The Chicago Democratic Party Would Like Additional Information

Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is holding a referendum to vote on whether to enter the 21st Century... er, whether to allow liquor to be sold by the glass. And proponents are taking no chances: Corporations which own land in town are taking advantage of a loophole in the voting eligibility laws to allow "nonresident property owners" to vote by deeding pieces of land to nonresidents, who can then vote. As long as their names are on a deed for a piece of land, they can vote, even if it's really on paper only and temporary. Clever.
