A Norwegian study -- there have been lots of those lately -- says that you're at increased risk of heart failure if you have problems getting to sleep. Not sure which causes which (if at all), but there's a link, according to this study. What these studies never suggest is how, if you're a typical person who has to, you know, WORK for a living, you can find the time to sleep eight hours. (BBC)
