You get strep throat, or flu. You throw your toothbrush out, because, you know, germs. But a study says that the brush doesn't harbor strep germs. On the other hand, a brush right out of the package may have its own nasty germs. And we know about keeping your brush out in a bathroom where fecal bacteria can fly through the air after every flush. Moral: I don't know, you gotta brush your teeth, right? Use what you want.
