Time Warner Cable subscribers are suing over being forced to pay higher rates to subsidize Lakers and Dodgers telecasts. Why, they want to know, should they pay several dollars a month -- about a hundred bucks a year -- for something they don't want? It's the a la carte thing again, and what it means is that if this succeeds, it could blow up the entire sports television rights model.
