Does anybody believe those labels on shampoo bottles that say "SALON ONLY"? Like if you buy it at a retail store, somebody will come out of the woodwork and resting? Well, somebody took L'Oreal to court over it, and the court says that the company can fix everything by taking the labels off. That's part of the settlement, which doesn't give much to the class that sued, but does, once and for all, get rid of the fiction that the stuff is only to be sold at a salon. Why do they put that label on the bottles? So they can charge more, of course. It's meant to make you feel like the stuff is of better quality than Head and Shoulders. (Courthouse News Service)
