Stats show there are more one-child families. Parents are stopping at one. Interesting, and it raises the question of what's best for the kids -- siblings or none -- and when that might conflict with what the parents can handle, or want. There's also the financial angle. Were you an only child, and did you wish you had a brother or sister? Do you have one kid or more? What were your considerations when planning your family? (Philadelphia Inquirer)
