Not That The Free Stuff Was Any Good, But Still

There's probably a shrine in every airline CEO's office for whoever realized that you can sell food, internet, seat upgrades, and movies to airplane passengers rather than give 'em away. Genius! Captive audience, desperate for food and drink... and as we move forward and younger passengers come along who don't remember free meals and movies or being able to get a bulkhead or exit row seat without paying extra, there won't be any complaints. So, don't expect the free stuff to make a return. (Los Angeles Times)
