Where You See Tragedy, They See Opportunity

Seriously? A United Airlines employee and his wife are accused of stealing the luggage of passengers diverted because of the Asiana Airlines crash at SFO? That's low. What allegedly happened was that a couple was supposed to fly into the airport two days after the crash, but couldn't... but their luggage, sent ahead, did make it. Surveillance video shows the employee taking the bags and handing them to his wife; the wife took clothes from the bag and returned them to Nordstrom for about $5,000, and got arrested as she tried to board a flight to Hawaii. This is why I try never, ever to check bags. That, and the $25 per bag. (San Francisco Chronicle)
