The Age Of Owning Your Mistakes
-
I've heard and seen this as a topic in the last week or so, and this BBC article says it point blank: shame is dead. Weiner, Spitzer, Filner, Bill Clinton: They do terrible things, refuse to go away, and act almost like THEY'RE the wronged party. They have no shame. Does it matter if the sinner repents? Do these guys need to show some remorse before they go on, and is that the problem with Weiner right now? SHOULD they feel shame or can they invoke the "everybody does it, we just got caught" rationale? (BBC)
