Their dad is a local small-town Vermont newspaperman and these three young sisters now own a chain of their own rural weekly papers and are making a profit. Especially in light of the huge cutbacks at Patch.com, is this an exception to the new-media-beats-old rule? Is it possible that there's still a market for the weekly paper in small towns and not the online equivalent? (New York Times)
