The particular stretch of Philadelphia's Wissahickon Creek is called "Devil's Pool" for a reason. There are warning signs all around, too. But a family went there and went swimming, and a father and son drowned while mom and three other kids watched. What part of "NO SWIMMING" did they not understand? What part of "Devil's Pool" did they not understand? One of the surviving brothers wants the city to "seal" dangerous creeks and rivers, but how can you block people from access to a part of a park because some others are too dim to see a "NO SWIMMING" sign and obey it?
