Is The Subsequent Vomiting 'Art,' Too?
-
Authorities in Pittsburgh have ordered an art installation closed after it caused people looking at it to have seizures. It's described as “intense stroboscopic light in combination with thick artificial fog, resulting in a loss of spatial orientation,†and you have to sign a waiver before you go in. This is not the first time this particular installation has sent people into seizures, so the gallery knew what they were getting into. I tend not to think of "making people sick" as art, but I might just be a philistine. (Pittsburgh Tribune-Review)
