Imagine No Possessions... Because There's No Room

How insane is the real estate market in San Francisco? This woman, and others, are paying $1,850 per month to rent a 279-square-foot apartment. You read that right. It's because a) it's near work and b) people are crazy. A lot of new apartment units in The City are under 400 square feet, in the wake of a city-sponsored test of new regulations allowing micro-apartments. Could you live in an apartment the size of a one-car garage? (San Francisco Chronicle)
