The oldest woman to run the New York City Marathon this yeardied the day after. She was 86. She fell and hit her head while running, but insisted on finishing the race, then did her annual "Today Show" appearance on Monday, went back to her hotel room, and died. But she sure did go out the way she wanted. "I always say I'm going to run until I drop," she said. "I'm going to die in my tennis shoes." That, she did. Bless her... (New York Daily News)
