She was known as the "Burqa Bandit," a woman who tried to rob a bank disguised in a burqa. And now she's talking to a TV news reporter about why she did it: She says she needed to provide for her 2-year-old special needs son and that she'd do it again. She says she has no money, has no family who can help. Does that make you more sympathetic? Okay, then, how about the other way, that she says she was involved with gangs and drugs?
