Remain In Your Seats With The Belt Tightened

You've undoubtedly been on a flight on which there was heavy turbulence. And when that happens, they tell everyone to sit down, but you notice that the flight attendants tend to stay on their feet, even in really rough skies. They're used to it. Which is why it must have bruised both ego and body when a plane braked suddenly while taxiing at Dulles and aflight attendant got hurt. I mean, they weather all sorts of turbulence and then the plane just has to stop short to avoid a runway collision and THAT causes an injury? The plane can drop several hundred feet at 500 miles per hour and they manage to keep it together, and rolling along the tarmac and slamming the brakes is an injury incident? Guess so.
