Michael Bay Would Have Done Things Differently

So, we know that "The Lego Movie" is a massive hit, bowling over critics and a must-see for not just families but everyone of all ages. But HOW did that happen? I've heard some people talking about how it's weird that any adult without kids would want to see it, but clearly they do. And it's not really THAT hard to figure it out. Besides the appeal of the toy as a hook, which could have made a moderate hit and would have appealed just to kids, the studio hooked up with directors and writers who wanted to make a GOOD movie, not just a hit movie. They came up with a great script, hired a great voice cast, and created a cool CGI animation style that mimics the fan stop-motion Lego animations on YouTube. Let's go over that again: the right people, the right idea, the right script, the right visuals. In other words, the goal of the producers was to make a good movie and not just cash in.
