The Penn State sorority that got put on probation for pictures of themselves dressed as stereotypical Mexican men with sombreros and mustaches and signs reading “will mow lawn for weed + beer†and “I don’t cut grass, I smoke it" has been shut down by the national parent organization. It took them a year to decide this? NOW it's offensive enough to close down the chapter? Anyway, obviously, the pictures were unfunny and stupid, but did it warrant total closure or could they have just booted the people responsible? (Centre Daily Times)
