The dilemma about genetically modified food is that sometimes, the genetic modifications might be more helpful than harmful. Potentially. They appear to have come up with blight-resistant potatoes. That's good, right? Especially since the alternative, practiced for generations, involves the use of chemicals. What's worse, GMOs or using chemicals? Because you can't always go organic when disease could wipe out the entire crop. (BBC)
