Closed Due To Hubris Damage
-
You have GOT to be kidding: The elaborate high school football stadium in the Dallas suburb of Allen, TX, costing $60 Million, has been abruptly closed 18 months after it opened because they've found cracks in the concourse. They can't use the place for graduation in June, and it might not be fixed in time for football season. Wait, you're still hung up on the $60 million thing? I'm even hung up on the idea of a high school football stadium with a concourse. Every place I've lived, high school stadia have metal bleachers and a wooden press box. But I've never lived in Texas.
