Once again, a teacher is arrested for alleged child molestation, and the school system that hired him has to reevaluate its hiring policy. In this case, they'd better, because the guy was hired WHILE HE WAS BEING INVESTIGATED FOR PREVIOUS ABUSE CLAIMS at his old school. If they'd done ANY kind of background check, they'd have found out. But they didn't do ANY background check or even call for a reference. And now he's facing charges of molesting kids at his new school, too. The school board bears responsibility for those incidents, don't they? (KTVU/Oakland-San Francisco)
