Would They Let The Homeless People Inside The Place? If Not, It's Exploitation
-
Is it exploitation or a way to do something good for people when a business gives the homeless hoodies with their logo on them? A Seattle bar and pinball emporium is under fire for its "Hoodies for Hobos" campaign, and right there that name makes you think, well, it's not altruism here. But altruism or no, the homeless ARE getting something warm to wear on cold nights. Is it bad for the donor to put its logo on the freebies? On the other hand, is making poor vulnerable people walking billboards fair? (CBC)
