Where Would You BUY One Of Those Shirts, Anyway? Is There An 'Evil Hot Topic'?

Two students at a Portland high school reacted to the Day of Silence, the pro-gay event that's become common at high schools nationwide, by wearing anti-gay T-shirts, because (OPINION ALERT) they're jackasses, I think. But jackasses have the same freedom of speech as anyone else, and you could ask whether it's right for a school to take sides in a controversial issue, although, while I understand the religious aspects, I don't think tolerance and acceptance of gay people should be all that controversial in 2014. But that's just me. Anyway, the kids wore the shirts and were apparently asked to turn them inside out, so there's that. (KATU-TV/Portland)
