A postal worker has been sentenced to six months in jail for destroying and hiding at least 44,900 pieces of mail rather than delivering it. He stashed all of it at his late mother's home and in storage facilities. (Sounds a lot like a certain sitcom mailman who tormented Jerry Seinfeld...) The motive: He wanted to pick his kids up from school at a certain time, and delivering the mail just got in the way. Won't be easy to pick the kids up if he's serving time in prison. (CNN)
